Bio: 

dan was born in 1974. he was really into building forts in the woods when growing up. then there was television and it burned a lot of images into his brain. he went to mit and learned how to build robots. it was a lot of fun. he always like making music and art and one day he dropped out of school to become an artist. lately he thinks a lot about social systems and how to bring the collaborative impulses from our online virtual spaces to our shared physical spaces. he believes that people and nature are more interesting than technology and that someday he will give up his cell phone so there won't be any more interrupted conversations.
