Dave Gordon
Bio:
Dave Gordon is a multimedia artist who works with photography, animation, sculpture and robotics, separately and in combination. His work is often rooted in notions of collage and found object assemblage. He teaches digital imaging and new media courses at Salem State University and North Shore Community College. Dave has shown his work in galleries regionally and nationally and his animation has won awards internationally. He has had interactive sculpture on long-term display in New York and was commissioned to construct a permanent monument for the Landmark School in Beverly, MA. Dave completed his undergraduate work at Oberlin College and graduated from the Interactive Telecommunication Program (ITP) at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. He is the creator and curator of the Eadweard Muybridge Online Archive which had its grand opening on Feb. 14, 2011 www.muybridge.org.
